We did our i365 review and read below to see how they rate in the essential service areas. i365 gives you a complete solution that keeps your data secure, compliant, and easy to manage. They also provide disaster readiness and technology that scales with your business.

Data Backup: Yes. i365 provides online data backup to dual offsite facilities.

 

 

Pros:

Data is secure in remote facilities.

Provides 30-day, yearly, and 7-year archiving of your data.

 

Cons:

Your staff must administer data backup and recovery through a web portal.

Requires proprietary software.

More expensive than many other vendors.

 

 

 

Disaster Recovery: Yes. i365 provides the ability to recover your data in the event of a data loss.

 

 

Pros:

Excellent disaster recover functionality

E Vault does meet the meet the definition of a disaster recovery provider

You can restore data down to the individual file

 

 

Cons:

Bare metal restore to new equipment is not available.

No onsite storage of your data. Data can only be restored online, or in the case of large amounts of data, must be physically delivered via a Mobile Vault.

 

 

Business Continuity: Offsite only. i365 provides business continuity in their off-site facility with entails remote access of the data at their their data center.

 

 

Pros:

Business Continuity is available by allowing your users to connect through the internet back at their datacenter. Great feature but is overkill for most organizations due to high costs.

 

 

 

Cons:

Off site business continuity is a great feature but is overkill for most organizations due to high costs. Local business continuity functionality also know as onsite failover server is more cost effective.
